Our insatiable desire for new technologies is our desire to know, which is the more deeply rooted obsession necessary to explain a characteristic that would permeate the entire species. Our obsession with the knowledge of man, this world, and the power over dominions that accompanies it, explains perfectly this innate course of human pursuit.
